Who controls your data
KailieTech Ltd is the data controller for Finance for Marketers. Contact gail.cook@kailietech.com with privacy questions or rights requests.
Information and purposes
We process names, email addresses and account authentication information to create and secure accounts; lesson progress, diagnostic answers, assessment scores and certificates to provide learning; purchase references and team membership to manage access; and enquiry details and support messages to respond to you. If AI features are enabled, prompts, responses and spoken captions are processed to provide feedback. Device information, IP addresses and essential technical logs support security and reliability.
Our legal bases are contract performance for accounts, learning and purchases; legitimate interests for enquiries, support, security and reliability; legal obligations for required financial records; and consent where required for optional processing. We do not use enquiry details to subscribe you to marketing.
Sharing and international transfers
We use service providers for hosting, authentication, storage and, when enabled, AI processing and support tooling. Lovable provides the application infrastructure. Paddle receives information required for product sales, payments, tax compliance, invoicing and purchase management as Merchant of Record. Information may also be shared with professional legal or accounting advisers, or authorities where legally required.
Providers may process data outside the UK or EEA. Where required, transfers use appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. Contact us for details about the safeguards relevant to your data.
Retention and security
Account and learning information is retained while needed to provide the service and handle support or disputes. Enquiries are kept while needed to respond and follow up. Financial records are retained for applicable statutory periods. Information is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed, subject to legal retention requirements. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability; object to processing; and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. These rights depend on the circumstances and applicable exemptions. Contact gail.cook@kailietech.com; we normally respond within one month, with lawful extensions explained where needed. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies and browser storage
Essential cookies and browser storage keep you signed in and support secure checkout. Paddle may use necessary checkout technologies under its own privacy notice. Optional analytics or marketing cookies require consent where applicable. You can manage cookies in your browser; blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in or checkout.
